The Impact of Fibre-Optic Cables on Ammanford
16 November 2013
Ammanford, being just beyond the M4 and being a relatively small town, has been, for the most part, neglected in comparison to some of the other cities and communities in South Wales. Whilst Swansea has had the advantage of a metropolitan, fibre-optic network which gives the potential of particularly fast and powerful internet, Ammanford has not had this privilege. In many respects, this is understandable, since Swansea is bigger than Ammanford; many would argue that Swansea receiving the relevant technology should be prioritised. Despite this idea, it does not escape the face that Ammanford is inevitably burdened with insufficient internet capabilities because of its nature.
Dropbox and Google Drive – Advantages And Disadvantages
13 August 2012
For ages, Dropbox has been the king of syncing files. One drag-and-drop and your file would be accessible from any place with internet, either through a Dropbox on the computer itself or through the Dropbox website. For students, businessmen and all in between, this was the ultimate useful tool. However, Google have stepped into the ring and are stealing some of Dropbox’s thunder, so to speak, with Google Drive. The two both offer the same basic service, that service being the file-syncing service. But the question stands; which one is superior? Which one is more beneficial? Which one will offer a more comfortable file-syncing experience? I hope to shed some light on these questions in this article.

One swipe of a finger and you’re immersed in the musings of an intelligent daily paper, or you’re enjoying a piece of fine literature. But I can do this with a good old-fashioned paper book, you may argue. Why should I dish out the hundred-odd quid for a piece of fancy kit that lets me do what I can do anyway? Let me enlighten the people who ask this question. Let me prove to you why the Kindle Touch is the mother of all E-Readers.

Receive a text from someone and hold the phone to your ear… alakazam, the phone is calling them back for you. Make two Galaxy III phones nudge each other and, abracadabra, you are now sharing files without any form of pairing. Take a photo and, hocus pocus, eight photos are taken and the best of the eight is selected with the Best Photo feature. Is it magic? Is it trickery? No, it’s the big brain of the Samsung Galaxy SIII.

WordPress is immensely successful, that much is for certain. Powering more than 70 million websites globally and renowned for being free, Wordpress can be considered one of the most successful and popular pieces of software in existence. HP Envy Spectre XT
24 July 2012
Yes, it’s happened again. Computer technology has tested its boundaries, the result being a fantastic, shiny, brand-new Ultrabook that has achieved new heights.

With a 13.3 inch LED-backlit HD display and a more-than-decent selection of pre-installed pro software (such as Adobe Photoshop and two years of Norton Internet Security), this laptop is certainly a MASSIVE competitor for its rivals down at the Apple and Fujitsu offices.
Website Design – Important Things To Remember
20 July 2012
Good websites have become crucial for businesses worldwide. Without a website, a business isn’t reaching the majority and isn’t maximizing its potential. With the sheer amount of people using the internet on practically a daily basis, a decent website is all-important. Businesses are practically sending customers away by using badly-designed or mediocre websites; the ones who do not use the internet at all to benefit their business are doing nothing but stabbing themselves in the chest. Owning a decent website has become practically necessary for businesses. That is why good website design is required; here are some tips for good website design.
New Social Media - The Contenders
17 July 2012
Social networking has dominated everything. Every advertisement offers a Facebook, a Twitter, or sometimes a Google+ link. Every decent website has a social networking logo somewhere on their website, for the mad liker or the perpetual follower. Zuckerburg is one of the world’s youngest billionaires, if not the youngest billionaire. Apparently, if Facebook were a country, it would be the world’s third most populated country. That is the sheer size of social networking; “Facebook me” has become a very common expression and Twitter hashtags (#ComputerWizKid, for example) have become very popular. But there are more social giants looming over the horizon; they’re growing and will probably become as popular as Facebook or Twitter in the foreseeable future. They’re stepping over the corpses of the long-dead Myspace and Bebo and are marching in the direction of the limelight.
